Privacy Policy

Draft — pending counsel review · 2026

This policy explains what Hyper Logistics LLC collects when you use the HYPER assistant, why we collect it, and who else sees it. Plain language, because you shouldn't need a lawyer to read a privacy policy.

What we collect

  • What you ask. The questions you type or record, and the answers we return.
  • Your operation. Trucks and units you add, ELD and telematics data you connect, service intervals, coverage limits and the lanes you run.
  • Account and billing. Name, email, company, and the number of active trucks. Card and bank details are handled by our payment processor — we never see or store them.
  • Technical. IP address, browser and device type, and error logs, used to keep the service up and to stop abuse.

Why we collect it

To answer your questions accurately. A load evaluation is only useful if it knows your MPG, your position and your remaining hours; a compliance alert is only useful if it knows your filing history. We also use aggregate, de-identified usage patterns to decide which parts of the product to improve.

Voice recordings

Audio you record is sent to our speech-to-text provider, transcribed, and the audio file is deleted from our servers once the transcription completes. The transcript is kept with the rest of your conversation.

Who else sees your data

We share the minimum a given answer requires, and nothing beyond it:

  • AI model provider — your question and the relevant context, to generate an answer.
  • Data providers — load boards, rate benchmarks, fuel price feeds, FMCSA and IFTA sources, queried for the specific lookup you asked for.
  • ELD and telematics providers — read access you authorise and can revoke.
  • Infrastructure and payments — hosting, error monitoring, and our payment processor.

We do not sell your data, and we do not hand your compliance history, insurance details or financials to brokers, insurers or marketers.

How long we keep it

Conversations are retained so you can pick a thread back up; you can clear any conversation from inside the assistant, which deletes it from our store. Account and billing records are kept as long as the account is open and for the period tax and accounting rules require after it closes.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to staff who need it to run the service, and we are building our controls toward SOC 2 Type II. No system is perfect; if we ever have a breach affecting your data we will tell you.

Your choices

  • Ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete it.
  • Disconnect an ELD or telematics integration at any time.
  • Close your account and stop billing without notice or penalty.

Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under state privacy law. Write to Hypergroupcontact@gmail.com and we'll handle it.
